Furthermore, the Micro-Lite aluminum barrel produces tack-driving accuracy while eliminating excess weight, and the X-Lok adjustable foregrip and narrow frame offer balance and easy handling.

Hunting from a small blind or tight climbing treestand can be a pain if you're forced to execute with a heavy, enormous crossbow. For this reason, I did my best to track down a suitable option for those looking for a compact model... and that's how I found the Killer Instinct Swat X1!
This pick is the smallest and easiest-to-handle crossbow that packs a powerful punch. At 24.75 inches long and 6.25 inches wide when cocked, the micro frame generates a destructive speed of 405 feet-per-second and kinetic energy of 142 FT-LB.
The highly efficient Synchronized X Cam and 50% let-off makes the narrow X1 easy to cock with a rope cocker or Compact Silent Crank. The Accutac Barrel provides guidance and support for unmatched broadhead accuracy at high speeds, while the enclosed design protects the bolt and broadhead for unmatched safety.
With a 3.0-LB trigger and a weight of only 7.2 LB, upgrade to the SWAT X1 for a clean break and the ultimate downrange shooting experience.

Type
All of Killer Instincts types of crossbows are standard, compound style options. They do not manufacturer any reverse or traditional style crossbows at this time.
Pro Tip: When hunting from a blind, remember to cock your crossbow before entering due to limited space.
Design & Construction
Killer Instinct's standard design is easy to spot when compared to other crossbow brands and models. Their approach is one of simplicity and minimalism. Many of their crossbows are very lightweight due to the stripped-down construction of their stocks - very similar to a tactical style rifle.
Size
When it comes to size, Killer Instinct does not offer the most compact size crossbows on the market; however, I wouldn't say they're oversized by any means.
On average, these crossbows are pretty standard and are still a great option for anyone that hunts on the ground or in a treestand or blind. It's important to keep in mind, if you're really in search of a super compact option there are other brands out there that manufacturer smaller models.
Price
Killer Instinct crossbows are going to range from $250 to upwards of $1,500 depending on the model and desired package. While looking at the market as a whole, these prices are somewhat comparable to beginner level, or low-to-mid-range crossbow brands. Judging by the numerous videos online, reviews by hunters who have previously purchased, and online forums, this model has had several durability issues. I've seen numerous examples of hunters saying the Ripper 425 tends to break after a year of usage - more specifically saying the model's limbs have not been super durable.

My repper415 limb broke yesterday just hanging in the tree.
Also stay away from Killer Instinct Fatal X. It may be fatal to you. I had one the limb started splintering, sent it back. Then I was stupid enough to try another one. I went hunting this morning. When I cocked the this morning the right limb actually broke. They don’t seem to have any type of quality control in their manufacturing process. Sent an Email haven’t got a response.
Man my 415 burner my left arm just snapped off almost killed me I sure hope they will send me some replacement arms for my crossbow.
